About the Event
Calling actors, designers, directors, and crew to an evening of open artistic process with several new short scripts. We’ll read together and begin a discussion about producing these works and possibly others. All are welcome to engage with new work, get to know other artists, and incubate ideas at Marddy’s Café at PushPush Arts.
In traditional theater practices, new play and project selections are often distant from the artists creating and presenting the work. PushPush invites you out on April 8th and/or 16th to directly take part in the process at the first read and a discussion of scripts from PushPush’s artist-led Seedworks program. This is an excellent opportunity to participate in PushPush’s current work and discover projects you might like to participate in. Share your insights, shape future projects, and discover opportunities to contribute to PushPush’s ongoing creative endeavors.
Open to all, this event offers a chance to connect with fellow artists, incubate ideas, and immerse yourself in new work.
