2025 FIRST ANNUAL PUSHSCAPE - REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

PushPush Arts is proud to announce a call for artist engagement with our first annual PUSHSCAPE on October 11, 2025 (Facebook event).

We have been growing roots and building a creative community in Atlanta for 28 years. Now, as we expand our work on the College Park campus, we are planning something special, a full-day block party!

​​

In a time when artistic freedom, public access to creativity, and international collaboration are increasingly under attack, PushPush Arts commits to:

• Sustaining experimental work

• Fostering international artistic exchange

• Standing with artists on the margins

• Creating spaces of refuge, dialogue, and possibility

​​

As an incubator that values process over product and innovative expression over escapist entertainment, standout artists will bring unique energy and perspective.

​

Spots for single or inter/multi-disciplinary performance and/or exhibition are available across the campus buildings.
 

We are offering two paths to getting involved with our celebration of original and local creatives working in all forms. 

 

1) If you would like to exhibit or perform, please submit a link to your work with a description of the date-specific offering to info@pushpusharts.com

2) If you are interested in collaborating with the PushPush Arts ecosystem over a six-week incubation period on an original project to be exhibited in the gallery, our Guest Nest program will culminate on the day of the Pushscape. This is an ideal onramp for those seeking studio space, a set time and place for your development, community engagement, and process tracking. Please find the application here.

With regard to compensation, this is not a big-budget event and most of the offerings are collaborative or in-kind. We are however providing stipends along with the organization's resources. Priority will be given to artists already part of our extended creative community.
