Seedworks: An open-source incubation process for developing sustainable ideas.

Our Foundational Principle: Development Before Display

A woman dressed as a nurse with a dog leash stands on a colorful rug in front of an audience in a brightly lit room, with some people smiling and listening attentively.

PushPush Arts

is committed to artist growth and development from idea to distribution. SeedWorks is PushPush Arts' unique development program that offers artists and creatives a step-by-step process to clarify, prioritize, and advance their work; ultimately connecting them and their work to increased opportunities, impact, and possibly investment.

SeedWorks is cemented to the foundation of development. The program is not content-driven; it is development-driven. The beginning of any SeedWorks plan is not about describing artistic content, but about articulating what is being developed and what must occur to reach a viable proof of concept.

• What specifically is being developed?
• What skills, structures, or capacities must grow?
• What must happen to reach proof of concept?
• What resources, team, budget, and timeline are required?

Clarity and planning are the entry points. Without clarity, there is no plan. Without a plan, there is no proof of concept.

SeedWorks operates as a cohort of artists and creatives actively supporting one another’s growth. We offer in-person and virtual sessions and workshops, along with other activities. Interested in joining us?
